About Us
Women’s Weekend Russian River (WWRR) is more than a weekend, it is a joyful sapphic tradition that brings community together on the Russian River in Northern California.
In 2023, Jodi and Tressa took over production, reviving a beloved event with heart, humor, and a big vision for the future. Since then, the festival has grown from a few hundred people to over a thousand, and the crowd has become even more beautifully mixed, with more diversity, more generations partying together, more trans and nonbinary folks in the mix, and better accessibility so more of us can join. We honor what came before us, and we keep building a celebration where everyone feels welcome and safe.
Meet the Team
The magic does not just appear, it is created by our incredible planning committee. Instead of stiff bios, we asked fun questions, like why they joined, their favorite WWRR highlights, the songs that get them in the mood, and their secret talents. Treat this section like mini interviews, a peek behind the curtain that shows the quirks, heart, and soul of the people who make Women’s Weekend what it is, welcoming, joyful, and unforgettable.
