About Us
Women’s Weekend Russian River (WWRR) is more than a weekend, it is a joyful sapphic tradition that brings community together on the Russian River in Northern California.
In 2023, Jodi and Tressa took over production, reviving a beloved event with heart, humor, and a big vision for the future. Since then, the festival has grown from a few hundred people to over a thousand, and our WWRR Community has become even more beautifully diverse, intergenerational, trans and nonbinary inclusive, and accessible, so more of us can join in all of the fun.
We honor what came before us, and will keep building a celebration where everyone feels welcome and safe.
Meet the Team
The magic does not just appear, it is created by our incredible planning committee. Instead of typical bios, we asked fun questions - why they joined, their favorite WWRR highlights, the songs that get them in the mood, and their secret talents. We hope you enjoy learning about our team through these mini interviews, giving you a peek behind the curtain that shows the quirks, heart, and soul of the people who make Women’s Weekend what it is: welcoming, joyful, and unforgettable.
