Why I said yes to joining the Team: I said yes because my honey adored this event and had been coming since the 90s. I did not know what I was stepping into, but I am thankful I did because this work has become my soul work. It is challenging, it stretches me, and it is deeply rewarding when I see the impact on first-timers and the tradition it carries for our OGs.
Favorite part of WWRR: My favorite part is watching our Trailblazers dance their hearts out alongside younger generations, all in one big joyful mix. I also love seeing the growing number of trans and nonbinary attendees shining at WWRR. Also the Biker Babes are SO COOL!!!
Wish for Attendees: I hope every attendee feels the Women’s Weekend bubble — that moment when the world’s stress softens, the anxiety eases, and they can just exhale. Watching people let go a little once they arrive warms my heart and reminds me why this gathering matters.
