Women’s Weekend Russian River Sexual Assault & Harassment Response Protocol

Women’s Weekend Russian River is committed to a safe, consent-centered environment for women, trans, nonbinary, gender-nonconforming, and queer attendees. Sexual harassment, assault, stalking, intimidation, coercion, retaliation, and gender-based violence will not be tolerated.

This protocol applies to all attendees, staff, volunteers, performers, vendors, and security personnel.

Core Principles

Survivor-Centered

The survivor’s safety, choices, and autonomy come first.

Trauma-Informed

Staff and security will respond respectfully and without blame, pressure, or judgment.

Inclusive & Gender-Affirming

Support is available regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, disability, immigration status, relationship structure, or sobriety status.

Consent-Based Culture

Consent must be:

  • Freely given

  • Informed

  • Enthusiastic

  • Reversible

  • Specific

Silence, intoxication, coercion, or prior relationships do not equal consent.
